The video, which was first uploaded by the TikTok user Sierrascribner on November 15, has also begun to spread on Twitter.

On TikTok, the video has so far been viewed more than 675,000 times. After being posted on Twitter on December 4, it has since been viewed more than 215,000 times.

Sharing a snippet of the three-minute video, Twitter user Aprilajoyr captioned the video: “This Christian influencer says masturbation is witchcraft and creates generational curses that will “literally bleed into your future children’s life.

“I don’t miss these Pentecostal circles at all. So much needless shame.”

The video quickly sparked a conversation in the comments section about the points being raised as well as questions about whether the TikToker was joking. Other social media users simply made their own jokes about the points raised in the clip.

The TikToker’s profile features other videos discussing Christianity and her views regarding her faith. The original video on TikTok no longer allows comments.

“In the shortened clip, the woman in the video said: “Masturbation is a form of witchcraft.

“Not anyone is realizing that this is a demonic attack its a form of witchcraft. Masturbation is a form of control.

“You understand you are literally controlling an orgasm, you’re controlling your own pleasure, that is witchcraft.

“That is a curse that you begin to place over your own life that will then literally bleed into your future children’s life.

“This means that this will become a generational curse that you started or that your parents started that will now go to the next generation, it is witchcraft.”

Denouncing Sexual Pleasure

The woman in the video then began to personally denounce masturbation and sexual pleasure.

She continued: “I cancel the assignment of wet dreams. I cancel the assignment of having orgasms in my dreams.

“I cancel the assignment of masturbation. I cancel the assignment of sexual immorality over my life.

“You got to bind the enemy, in the name of Jesus we break all masturbation and witchcraft off your life now.”

The American Sexual Health Association has reflected on the often taboo topic of masturbation on its website and insisted that masturbation can be healthy.

The non-profit charity has said: “It’s okay, even healthy, to masturbate regularly.

“Orgasm not only relieves stress it also boosts the immune system and burns calories.

“Indulge in whichever solitary sexual behaviors bring the most pleasure.

“It’s up to you to choose how or if you reach orgasm. There are no rules, no ‘right ways’ to achieve sexual pleasure as long as there’s no danger to your or anyone else.”
