It confirmed that Gotham Knights is capped at 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X, with no performance mode for 60 FPS gameplay. Most PS5 and Xbox Series X games feature a performance mode of some sort, with some even allowing fans to play at 120 FPS. Now, a new video shows Gotham Knights running unbelievably poorly on Xbox Series X.

A Reddit user named elatedbonding38 has shared a small clip from the Xbox Series X version of Gotham Knights, showing it having major performance problems. It consists of Gotham Knights stuttering all over the place, to the point where it becomes pretty much unplayable. The poster elatedbonding38 jokingly claims that Gotham Knights runs like butter on Xbox Series X, with one user stating that it looks like someone poured butter on the console instead.
The comment section is mostly filled with jokes, as a fan mentions that the 1 FPS gameplay truly gives Gotham Knights a cinematic feeling. However, this appears to be an error, as many other players claim to have never experienced a similar issue.
